Prerequisites: To attend this course the student must be or have been a first responder or military member, or be the spouse, child or parent of such a person. No prior education is required.
This three-day course will prepare the student for stress coaching and provide him or her with a foundation for helping those in crisis. Students will learn effective strategies in identifying those suffering the effects of negative stress, how to guide those individuals through the pitfalls of stress, and when and how to refer the individuals to mental health professionals and other resources.
